Standon Calling has announced the first wave of acts for 2019.
Mercury-prize winning Wolf Alice, along with the legendary Nile Rodgers and his incredible band CHIC, will be joining Rag’n’Bone Man to complete the main stage headliners.
Also announced are scouse 70s rockers Echo & The Bunnymen, the breaking pop act that is Lewis Capaldi and band of the now IDLES – who’ll make a welcome return to the festival after their infamous 2017 set.
Plus festival favourites the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Elvana: Elvis Fronted Nirvana, the all-female Bruce Springsteen tribute act The She Street Band, and the ridiculous Cuban Brothers are all set to get the party swinging.
Beat freaks can immerse themselves in sets from Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco, Norman Jay MBE and Fleetmac Wood on the new Electric Willows stage, while those on the look out for the stars of can soak up the very best in emerging talent from the Sea Girls, The Big Moon, Warmduscher and Emily Burns.
