Every big event has to start somewhere. So does every up and coming party, and one that’s really blipping our radar this coming season is the red-hot dancefloor vibes coming off The Social Festival. It’s a Boutique sized, hedonistically powered affair that’s been bringing a generous slice of Balearic bliss to the beautiful people in the South East of England since 2013.
This grass-roots party originally started as a sweet kiss adieu to the manic and full throttle parties on the Ibizan homeland. The brainchild of House music record label owner Nic Fanciulli, who brings together a host of local talent with some of the top names in the industry to create a distinct blend of audio set mixed that fiercely promotes a boundary pushing agenda.
You can find a ton of fun on this year’s line up with Richie Hawtin, DJ Cassy, Dubfire, George Fitzgerald, Joris Voorn, Hot Since 82, Joy Orbison, Sasha and a host of other masters of the mix more than making up the numbers.
