The first line up announcement has been released by the environmentally conscious Green Man Festival. It’s their fifteenth birthday party and to celebrate they’ve booked some of their heroes from the festival scene to grace the stage. PJ Harvey, Ryan Adams and Future Islands have all been confirmed as playing in the headline slots for this party.

The Mercury Award winning PJ Harvey is set to appear in her only UK show of 2017 whilst Future Islands are going to kick start the proceedings on Friday night.

Returning to the line-up will be friend of the festival Michael Kiwanuka, the Mercury Award nominated artist who’s already performed 3 times at this event. Also appearing on the line-up will be Lambchop, Conor Oberst, Angel Olson, BadBadNotGood, Field Music, Julia Jacklin, and a DJ set from Jon Hopkins.

Still to come is the Thursday night headliner – plus plenty of other acts including those on the After Dark programme. All this musical merriment will combine with comedy, Einstein’s Garden, thought provoking films and loads of fun for the little ones.

Green Man takes place 17th – 20th August at Glanusk Park, Wales. Tickets are on sale now.
