Patti Smith and her band are to join previously announced headliners Ride on the Field Day Sunday line-up.

2015 marks the 40th anniversary of her seminal debut album ‘Horses’ and Patti, together with her band, will be performing it in full on the main stage.

Also added to the Sunday bill are Brooklyn four-piece DIIV, New Jersey band Ducktails, Matt MondanileOutfit and Jane Weaver.

Field Day regular Caribou returns once again, this time to headline the main Eat Your Own Ears stage on the Saturday. He will be joined by 2012 Mercury Prize nominees Django Django who closed the festival in 2013.

Other acts confirmed today are Madlib, SOPHIE, Clark, Ten Walls, Tei Shi, Jagaara, Ghost Culture and Chet Faker, plus b2b sets from techno giants Ben Klock and Marcel Dettman and Field Day favourites Daniel Avery and Andrew Weatherall.
