Sziget Festival has announced more names plus new stages and activities.
New names revealed at the annual Sziget press conference include Outkast, Manic Street Preachers and The 1975. The will join already announced acts, including Queens of the Stone Age, The Prodigy, Macklemore, Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Skrillex, Placebo, Lily Allen and The Kooks.
The press conference also revealed many changes regarding the venue and program structure at Sziget this year with Day 0 providing a program as strong as the regular days, presenting Anti-Flag, Ska-P and Queens of the Stone Age and an Opening Show by Deadmau5.
New venues include the Campfire Stage the Sziget Community Garden and the Ruin Pubs Quarter, all of which have been designed to live up to the festival’s ethos of being an inclusive community place for people to meet and get to know each other.
2014 will also see the return of fun activities at the main stage, including the Colour Party, the Flag Party, the Balloon Party, the Beach Ball Party and the Bubble Party.
Sziget takes place from Monday 11th to Monday 18th August 2014 in the Danube, Budapest. Tickets are currently priced at £175 for the weekend with camping. Grab yours here.
