Reading & Leeds have announced Metallica as the first headliners for 2015 in what will be a UK festival exclusive performance.
The band first headlined Reading 18 years ago and return to the headline slot for a record fourth time.
Following a successful secret set at this year’s Reading, Jamie T has been booked to appear at both sites in 2015. Also announced today are Pierce The Veil and Run The Jewels who both make their Reading & Leeds debut next year.
Festival regular Wilkinson returns to the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage with his ‘Lazers Not Included’ show and heavy metal band Refused will headline the The Pit Stage.
Not forgetting the indie-rockers, Manchester Orchestra return to the festival for the third time following the release of fourth album ‘Cope’.
Reading & Leeds festivals take place at Little Johns Farm, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds respectively from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2015.
