First 150 acts announced for The Great Escape 2015

The Great Escape has announced the first 150 acts for its 10th anniversary festival line-up.

Southern soul-rock quartet, Alabama Shakes, who played to a crowd of 400 in 2012, return to play Brighton Dome, the festival’s biggest stage.

Other acts announced today include Django Django, Slaves, Soak, Dan Bodan, Girl Band, Mapei, Songhoy Blues, Rat Boy, Pretty Vicious, Seinabo Sey, Tobias Jesso Jr, Louis Mttrs, Jack Garratt, The Lytics, Flo Morrissey, Laura Doggett, Real Lies and Loyle Carner.

Festival Director Kat Morris said, “To mark this very special 10th anniversary, we are excited to be bringing back some very special guests who have all performed iconic and memorable shows in previous years to play alongside 400 of 2015s hottest emerging artists from across the world.”

Running alongside the festival programme is The Great Escape convention which will focus on four key topics: Music Licensing – Explained At Last!’, ’Music Marketing Is Broken – Let’s Fix It’, ‘How To Sell Out Gracefully – Better Brand Partnerships’ and ‘What’s The Point Of A Record Label Anyway?’

The Great Escape Festival takes place across various indoor and outside venues in Brighton from Thursday 14th to Saturday 16th May 2015. A 3 day pass currently costs £49.50 + booking fees. Delegate passes are still available at the early bird price of £145.00.
