Michael Eavis has dismissed rumours of Fleetwood Mac and Queen headlining Glastonbury 2015.

Both bands were firm favourites with bookmakers, however, in an interview with Music Week the festival’s founder was quoted as saying “Queen? Not Queen, no. Fleetwood Mac don’t seem to be available at the moment.”

Eavis did confirm “we’ve got three excellent headliners for next year” and that names will be revealed when the full line-up is announced on 1st April 2015.

With Fleetwood Mac and Queen both out of the running, the most likely remaining contenders according to William Hill are AC/DC (5/1), Muse (5/1), Kate Bush (8/1) and Oasis (8/1).

Glastonbury Festival takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th June 2015.
