Bestival has announced that the Red Bull Academy Stage will be returning to Robin Hill with a new stage and daily hosts.
Things kick off on Thursday with a takeover by Glaswegians Numbers with Jackmaster and Oneman showcasing their four-deck manoeuvres and live sets from Redhino, and Kool Clap plus Spencer going back to back with Optimo.
Friday sees Harvey’s Discotheque taking charge with Daniel Avery joining in alongside Pachanga Boys, Eric Duncan, Hugo Capablanca, Jolly Mare and Andre Laos.
Saturday’s line-up comes with an urban twist from the likes of JME, Skepta, and ex-Kiss FM’s Logan Sama. They’re joined by Preditah with regular collaborator C4 plus Slimzee, Riko Dan, Plastician, DJ EZ, Elijah and Skilliam.
Bringing the weekend to a close, Sunday sees Diplo & friends take the headline slot, with appearances through the night from Kaytranada, Trippy Turtle, Artwork and Martelo plus DJ Slow and Sinjin Hawke.
The new Red Bull Academy Stage features a new ‘dance temple’ design theme, with a stunning altar dedicated to dance, totem poles, a winged deity and various other tribal miscellanea.
Bestival takes place from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th September 2014 at Robin Hill Park, Isle of Wight. Headliners already announced are Foals, Outkast and Chic & Nile Rodgers.
