About Nozstock
The imaginatively titles Nozstock is named after its heritage – it started off in 1998 as a large barbecue at the Nosworthy family home in Bromyard, Herefordshire. Since then it has moved to a larger site on The Rowden Paddocks Farm just down the road from the original site, where it plays host to some 5,000 party people for a three-day long August weekend.
There are eight stages at Nozstock, including three Dance music DJ based venues. You can expect to get your ears wrapped round a very eclectic mix of old and new talent alike, with the emphasis firmly planted on the Urban Beats and Breaks side of the fence. This is an event that sticks to its non-commercial guns, creating a very traditional, all-inclusive festival vibe that’s laid back and full of fun.
There is tons of other stuff to get your teeth into at Nozstock, which won the Greener Festival Award in 2013 and has received nominations for no less that five festival awards. In addition to the music stands there are loads of other crazy attractions including the Tent of Temporary Thought and the Velveteen Valley Cabaret. A great event for both friends and family, where you can fall away into a crowd for a relaxing weekend.
